PROGRAM
Day 1
Welcome at Yangon International Airport. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Walking tour starts with Colonial Area as the city featuring the faded colonial architecture of the old post office, Pansodan Street with Colonial architecture Building and walk up to the Pansodan Bridge to make good photos of colonial area and bustling street. Continue walk to High Court and Mahabandoola Garden including the Independence Monument along the way and Sule Pagoda, heart of City Center. Then visit Chauk-htet-kyi Pagoda; to see life like Reclining Buddha Image in guest-receiving position with Buddhist Monasteries around the Temple. In the evening, visit to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda; one of the wonders in the world and noted for its religious significance and artistic beauty. Enjoy the sun-set from the Great Temple. Offer the Planetary Post which belongs to your Birthday with water, flowers, candle lights, and incense sticks. Drive to Chaungtha, via Pathein-the Capital of Ayeyarwady Region. Upon arrival at Ngwe Saung, check-in at the hotel. Leisure on your own and overnight.
Day 2

Day 3
Free and easy. Accommodation included breakfast.
Day 4
Drive back to Yangon after breakfast. On the way, we may stay in Pathein where you can visit the local market, the Parasol workshop which is the unique handicraft of the region, etc. Continue the journey back to Yangon and overnight.
Day 5
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, transfer to Mandalay and check-in at the hotel. Visit to the Kuthodaw Pagoda – the world biggest book, Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery. Finally enjoy the sunset on top of Mandalay Hill where we can admire the beauty of Mandalay City, Shan Plateau, etc. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 6
Excursion to Amarapura – an ancient capital of Myanmar, where we can observe the life of over 1000 monks at Mahagandaryon Monastery & silk weaving factory. Proceed to Sagaing, where we can observe the fascinating landscapes of the Ayeyarwaddy River from serene Sagaing Hill, the place of over 700 monasteries. Continue to Ava and visit by horse carts to Maenu Okkyaung Monastery – built by the chief queen in 1818, Nan Myint Tower – 27 meter masonry high, Bargayar Monastery – well known for its wood carving with 267 teak pillars. Come back to Amarpaura and enjoy the sunset by crossing Over U Bein Bridge. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 7
Have breakfast at your hotel and have a free day until departure time. Get transferred from your hotel to Mandalay International Airport for a departure.
